Tareze (8/11f) was left clear to win as she pleased in the mares' maiden hurdle at Clonmel.
She was locked together with front-running Cottesloe Sunshine on the run to the penultimate hurdle, with a yawning gap back to the remainder.
It was all change in jumping, though, as Cottesloe Sunshine got it all wrong and deposited Richie Deegan on the turf.
Tareze and Darragh O'Keeffe sailed home with a massive advantage and took the honours by 27 lengths over Kilbarry Ce Ce (18/1). Milanaway completed the placings in third at 10/1.
Henry de Bromhead said: "That was brilliant and I'm delighted for Sally Rowley-Williams as she has been a tremendous supporter of ours for years and it is lovely to see her win with a really nice homebred.
"She was a nice mare in the spring, but was always big and I felt she'd do better with a bit of time under her belt.
"She is still only a five-year-old, will improve plenty although definitely wouldn't want the ground any better than that. Darragh said it was safe though so we were happy to go."
This was a significant drop in class for Tareze who was last seen being pulled up in a Grade 1 mares' novices' hurdle at Fairyhouse at the end of March.
