Balko D'ange That was a great way to break his duck. We were disappointed with him here the last day, but the winner (Cottesloe Sunshine) won since so you could only be happy with it. He missed a few hurdles then, which is unlike him, as he is generally quick. He was in off a nice mark today and looks like an improver. It was a nice pot to win and we'll go step by step with him now and he is a novice until the end of the season.

Shraheen The race didn't exactly go to plan. He wasn't to be as handy as he was but his jumping over the first couple took him there and I suppose he had to commit him then after that,. He's a big horse and he's improving, he's certainly going the right direction. Being by Mount Nelson, they generally want a bit of nice ground but he's from a good family who have won in all sorts of ground. He looks like a nice horse, he's a lovely big chaser. We'll might have a go at another festival with him.

One Big Boum The owners are from Carrigtwohill and Midleton and we had a long wait with him as he has had his problems. He ran here this time last year when he cracked a bone in his knee and had an operation so it was a slow process to come back. He went a bit right the last day at Wexford and went left today and he seems to idle when in front. Overall he has a bit to learn and isn't the finished article yet.
