The Raceday Stewards interviewed Richard James Daniels, trainer of Whatsafellatodo, concerning the conduct of this horse who refused to line up at the start when called forward by the starter (withdrawn by order of the Raceday Stewards) and also the conduct of the trainer at the start where he appeared to strike the horse with a leadrope while trying to get get him to go forward. Richard James Daniels said he shows no hesitations at home in his training. Regarding his own conduct he accepted he had struck the animal and apologised for his actions. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards in accordance to Rule 14(iii) suspended Whatsafellatodo for a period of 30 days. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Storm Mahler trained by E. McNamara had blood at both nostrils post race
