The Folkes Tiara That was great. He had lost his form a little bit and it's great to see him back. Brian was brilliant on him. I'm delighted for the lads, Johnny, Paddy and Willie. He jumped unreal. Brian said he thought he was beaten coming to the last and he said the leap he put in there was brilliant and winged it. He won at Leopardstown last year and he'll be a couple of pounds higher now but it's a very valuable pot. We're delighted to win today.

Butch Cassidy He’s a lovely big horse and a real chaser in the making. He has loads of size and scope and he gallops. He’s big and raw and we felt whatever he did today, that he’d improve. He has a good attitude. I didn’t get a schooling hurdle into him which I would have liked, but his jumping improved as the race went on. Darragh was brilliant on him and delighted to get a winner for the Magniers who are fantastic supporters.

Its Bilbo Danny Cooper recommended him from France and liked his run back in the spring. He’s a fine big horse and hopefully will continue to improve. We won’t be in any mad panic this year and it’s lovely to have Matt (Fitzgerald, owner) here and winning. Darragh said he was a bit green, but he responded when he asked him. We might look at Leopardstown at Christmas and will give him a few runs to see where we are.

Love Me she ran a nice race in Wexford and we hoped she had come on for it. She was good and Darragh gave her a great ride. I think the pace suited her and Darragh said she jumped brilliant. I thought she might have lacked a bit of experience, but maybe the gallop they went sort of suited her in the end. She could step up in trip with the way she hit the line and it is great to get it for the Fitzgeralds (owners).

Native Speaker he won his maiden hurdle in Kilbeggan but we were bitterly disappointed with him in Sligo but that was much more pleasing. It was a non-event that day and for whatever reason he just didn’t turn up. That was much more like what he showed us at home, his schooling and everything. He jumped from fence to fence, and Darragh is riding with plenty of confidence. He was good and positive over the last two. Ground is important to him, he wants nice ground, so we’ll see what the weather does and where we go next. That was as short as he wants, and three miles is what we are looking for but in fairness he showed a nice bit of pace off the bend down to the second last. He’s a three-mile chaser.

Miss Tempo That was great, I'm delighted with that. He jumped brilliant and I thought Darragh was brilliant on him. It's lovely to see him back to form again, he's got a lot of class. He was very good here back in January and it's nice to get him back. He loves jumping and Darragh said at the first one down the back he couldn't see anything so he just squeezed up and he took off, he winged it. I love that with those two milers, it's always good to watch. I'm delighted for Cheveley Park. We said we'd come here and just see where we were and obviously we'll look at all those better races now. We'll get him home and see. I think he goes on any ground, he won on very testing ground here in January. I worried that the ground might just be a bit too good for him, but he seemed to love it. There is the Tingle Creek or the race at Leopardstown.

Miss Tempo I'm delighted with that. Mikey was brilliant on her, really positive. I'm delighted for him, he gave her a super ride, and delighted for the lads. It's lovely to have John (O'Shea) here, he doesn't get over that often so it's brilliant that she's won when he's here. She loves it here and she's won well in the end. In fairness she's a hardy mare and she's got some really good form. She just lost her form a bit but it's lovely to have her back. She's rated 115, she might rob a bit of black type somewhere, but it's probably more handicapping than that. We'll see what the handicapper thinks but if there was an opportunity to get black type you wouldn't be opposed it.

Nara We're delighted with that, she was really good. She jumped well and did everything nicely. She was a bit careful over the first couple but once she got her confidence she was brilliant, and Mark was brilliant on her. She's a fine, big mare. She had a couple of nice runs over hurdles last year. She probably has a preference for a bit nicer ground. We'll maybe look at the mares' novice chase in Cork.
