It wasn't really the plan to run him but when the race looked like it would cut up we decided we'd declare him and then make our mind up what to do. In fairness to Eamon and Robbie (Waters) they said 'whatever you want to do'. It worked out great. He's a good horse, Sam said he hated that ground and he'll be better on better ground. There is a race in Fairyhouse and a race in Aintree for him. He'll be entered in the Irish National and we'll see what Eamon wants to do, it's just whether he'd get that trip would be my only concern. We had four or five seconds last weekend but no winner. I'd be anxious myself, we haven't much between now and Cheltenham but it's happy days (today).

A great day but, as I said before, I am very lucky with the horses I have and all the staff. I'm delighted for all the owners too.

This race has been the plan since last year,. Eamon and Robbie (Waters) have given great support. In horses you have good and bad days but I'm so lucky with the bunch of owners I have, the staff I have and horses I have. I'm very lucky and without these people I can't do it. They give me the horses and I can't thank them enough. When kept Danny's claim, he was injured, and this has been the plan with him. We said we'd mind him for this, we're delighted. It's great for Eamon, he's getting a little bit too much into the Flat racing but after winning the Galway Plate we might get him into a few more jumpers.

at Wexford in May the ground was very quick and he got a fright (jumping right) but he was good there. He did it well and was also good in Perth the last couple of days. I'll give him a break now and bring him back for Cheltenham in October. He is a grand horse.
