Aine gets on great with her. She did a piece of work in the Curragh last Tuesday on the heavy sand and blew us away. I was very concerned all day about the ground. Jamie Codd rode her twice last year and he more or less said go and run her, she’s the best horse in the race. She came across the track and I don’t know why. Maybe she wanted to show herself off as she’s going into the Sales ring tomorrow evening!. It’s been a dream. I sourced her myself and have got her this far. It would be a fairytale if we could get to keep her in the yard. She’s the first horse into the ring tomorrow and we have to talk about what the reserve is now. I own 20 per cent of her.

I was very impressed with her the last day, the way she kicked on from them, and she was giving a lot of weight to the second horse. I'm very surprised she's still running in these same colours, I thought she would have been picked up the last day. My only fear going out was that someone said that Willie Mullins had been hitting the crossbar all day and he had two in this race. I said 'he's definitely going to do us here'!. She was very good, she loves being out in front. She doesn't have to be out in front but she has a big stride and she just loves using it. I walked the track and was very afraid of the ground, I thought it was horrible tacky ground. As Oliver Brady used to say to me 'good horses go on any ground'. She's my first Listed winner and she's very good, she's special. I sourced her myself, I drove to Newmarket and picked her out. I own 20 percent of her as well. I'm getting the boat at 10.30 to go to Wolverhampton now as I have six runners on Monday and Tuesday.

Myself and Aine walked the track and decided to ride her like the best horse in the race. It wasn't ideal going down the inner on the chopped up ground, but we had the advantage of having the inside. We always thought a lot of her and I put a line through her run the last day as I don't know what happened her, so gave her a break to freshen her up. . It might be too late in the season to go hurdling now, so maybe we'll go for another Listed mares' bumper.
