No Speed Limit brought up his third career success, and first over the five-furlong trip, when getting up in the William Hill Extra Places Everyday Handicap at Dundalk.
The 9/4 favourite disputed inside the final furlong and kept on best to lead close home. He won by a head from Florence Thompson (20/1). Silver Nemo (gambled on down to 7/1) was a nose back in third.
Trainer Patrick McKenna said: "He's sort of five and six (furlongs), but you have to take what is coming up.
"Conor, the son, is just back from Australia yesterday so we wanted to get running with him here before he goes back. He has a fortnight at home.
"The horse will be sold, it is his horse and he's going back to Australia. If there is somebody out there who wants a horse for fun, this is him.
"He does (put it in every day), he got him for maybe 1500 and he has won maybe 40 grand these past two years. He has won over five, six and seven now.
"He holds his form so he is solid. He is game and so honest."
All three of seven-year-old gelding No Speed Limit's victories have come on the Polytrack in Dundalk.
Owner Conor McKenna won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship with Tyrone in 2021 and is resuming his career in the Australian Football League after Christmas.
