The Ralph Beckett trained Muhannak under Pat Smullen, landed the featured E50,000 Listed Diamond Stakes at Dundalk tonight.

The 4yo gelded son of Chester House raced in mid division, progressed from 2f out before eventually getting to the front inside the final for a neck win over Mr Medici

Beckett and Muhannak's owner Richard Pegum were both absent but Smullen did mention "I was told Muhannak was a quirky sort and while he has a mind of him own, he is a tough sort with plenty of ability."
