Gallimh A Run showed a useful turn of foot to cut down the horses in front of her in the mares' bumper at Thurles.
She attracted support this morning before drifting back out to 11/2.
From fourth a furlong and a half out, she really found her stride for John Gleeson to surge into the lead in the closing stages to win going away by four and three quarter lengths.
Point-to-point winner Meet My Loreley put in a good performance in second at 50/1 and was two and a quarter lengths in front of newcomer Katou (11/2).
Trainer John Queally said: "The dam (Gallimh A Chroi) loved it bottomless and won a Listed bumper at Sandown. She is by Presenting, has a bit of pace and has always shown us plenty.
"She jumps really well, has done her business now and is rising six so will probably go hurdling. I don't think I'll bother with a winners' bumper."
