Formscan By Tom Weekes - Beautifully-bred AMEN KATE was well touted when winning at the Listowel festival last September and that bumper has worked out very well. Out of a Grade 1 winner and a granddaughter of undefeated English Christmas Hurdle winner Feathard Lady, the selection is handy size-wise but went through soft ground well at Listowel, where she defeated today’s rival Carrigmoornaspruce into second, with another subsequent bumper-winner finishing third. Future Prospect looked smart when sprinting clear to win at Fairyhouse in December. While that form is just ordinary, she won impressively and is open to plenty more improvement. Churchfield Sunset won a Navan Listed bumper in November but faces a stiffer test under top weight.
