Limerick Tue, 19th Nov, 2024  Diamond Nora She had plenty weight on her back so I told Liam to ride a patient race. I was expecting her to run a good race as she was reasonably fit coming here but with it being her first run back, we said we'd ride her patiently. She will stay further, found well and was good. That's two she has won now, she has size and is a terrific jumper. I'd say she will do well over fences but will stick to hurdles this season.

Naas Sun, 10th Nov, 2024  Carrigmoornaspruce I was cursing myself when I seen Dec (Lavery, on the favourite) following the leader as there was no real middle pace in the race. I was trapped back further than I wanted to be, and I said I'd just have to sit and suffer and see how it goes. I just made my ground slowly and got a small little slit turning in. I was a long way off the pace still but to be fair to her she got me out of a hole. I was too far back but she's obviously a good filly. She's owned by two gentleman, Micky Veale and Tom McCarthy so it's mighty for them.

Downpatrick Sun, 11th Aug, 2024  Sharp Object I was a little bit worried - I thought I was taking a bit of a risk dropping her down in trip, but Ben said it was easy for her,. From the last up to the line, up a hill, she actually put distance between herself on her own which Ben and I were impressed with. She's a nice filly and she has already got black-type and I would hope she would be a black-type filly over hurdles as well. We had a little bit of a blip then in the middle of the winter, but that's all sorted now. When she is on song, she is very good. We'll go the novice hurdle route. I don't know if we will go through the winter, but we will certainly go up until October and then we will see what we do. It was a good pot and I think it is a bonus race as well for fillies, so that's a big thing. I'm delighted for Syndicates Racing.

Cork Mon, 5th Aug, 2024  Gabriel Ranger We got him over the line at last. He had a little break, I think that is his level and I don't know what the handicapper will do with him now.
