I'm delighted. You know where we hold him, he's one of the best horses I've ever trained. Last year was tough, but it's lovely to see him back. He was brilliant and Rachael was super on him, she gave him a brilliant ride. There are a lot of people to thank but I have to mention Robert Power and Brian (Acheson). We stopped with him last January and Robbie has done a lot of work with him during the summer and into this season. He came down to us looking amazing. There are a lot of people to thank, the team at home, but Robbie stands out for all the work he's done with him. We better ask him what he was doing and start doing it with all of them!. He stayed at it really well. The way he burst through and then I thought 'oh no it's the same as last year when Zanahiyr came back at him'. I thought we were in trouble there, obviously Zanahiyr picked up and we were a bit slow at the last. It was lovely to see, he's a real good horse and it's nice to see him hopefully starting to come back. It was a tough race, his first run since January.

I was happy with him, he made one or two little errors, so there’s definitely room for improvement there, but four out I wasn’t delighted and I thought I’d be travelling better. I don’t know if it was the true Bob Olinger today, even coming up the hill it wasn’t the fashion of last year and I was never going to catch Paul. It’s strange emotions but unbelievable to get another winner here. I think he’s a Gold Cup horse, he’s one of the best in Henry’s yard so I wouldn’t be too disheartened today as I know that wasn’t the true Bob, for whatever reason I don’t know, but we’re lucky to have him. The ground might have blunted him but it’s just soft, jumping ground so I wouldn’t use that as an excuse as he’s won on heavy the last day. You never want to win in those circumstances, but this game — always expect the unexpected and we’re delighted to win and we need to show a bit of joy as well. I was surprised to see him off the bridle so soon, obviously the other one is something else. I never thought I’d see another horse do that to him. He made a couple of mistakes so we still have to work on the jumping, but he jumped well on the first circuit. He’s still a work in progress, it was still only his third run over fences and he’s won a Grade Three and a Grade One. You don’t like to win a race like that, though.

he was really good and Rachael was really happy with him. He jumped great and it was a class race. He’d come on a hell of a lot since Gowran and I think the experience he got there has really stood to him. The second (Capodann) is obviously a good horse and the pair of them have pulled clear. Thankfully our man kept going. The Dublin Racing Festival is the plan subject to ground - there would want to be a good ease in the ground. It seems our best option. It’s three weeks and I think that’s the plan at the moment. He’s got a lot of class and a great attitude.

it was some experience. He jumped brilliant, travelled great and it's as good a feeling as I've ever got on the racetrack. It was unreal. He has a serious engine and it was just a privilege to get the ride on him. If you want to be critical of him I suppose you could say that but it's his first run over fences and these take plenty of jumping but overall I thought his jumping was very good and he'll come on plenty from today as well. He has the scope and he won a point-to-point for Pat Doyle. Today was just about getting around, we know he has the engine.

I’m delighted with him. Rachael was brilliant on him again and he couldn’t have done it any better. He’s a horse we’ve always liked. He’s done very little wrong and he’s very exciting. I started the season aiming at the Supreme, but everyone persuaded me, quite rightly, to step up in trip. We were very hopeful coming here, but it was obviously a very good race and you never know on the day.

We hoped he was a nice horse and he had been working nicely. Obviously the favourite looked very nice as well. I'm delighted with our fella and he's an exciting horse. He had been working nice but he had to go against my bumper stats as well which is no mean feat!. I'm delighted for Robcour and the Achesons. It's great for Patrick to win the race (named in honour of Dr Brendan Doyle) and I'm honoured to win it. He's entitled to go for a winners bumper. I don't know where or when, today was Plan A. You have Aintree and Punchestown and we'll discuss it with the owners and see what they want to do. I was concerned about the ground being a bit too soft. He has worked well on good ground and up the sand at the Curragh so better ground shouldn't be a problem.
