Royal Diamond, second right, winning last year's Irish St Leger

It's the first day of the Listowel Harvest Festival and after 2mm of rain overnight the going is yielding on the flat course and good to yielding, yielding in places on the National Hunt track.
Today's jumping action features the Kerry Group Handicap Steeplechase at 5.10pm. The morning joint favourites for this big pot are Edward O'Grady's The Real Article and Thomas Cooper's The Shepherd King
Meanwhile, it's Irish St Leger day at the Curragh with the big race off at 3.50pm. Ahzeemah and Red Cadeaux are two raiders from England looking to foil the strong home challenge. Royal Diamond now trained by Johnny Murtagh, is back to try to retain his crown.
Galileo Rock is a significant non-runner after finishing third to Leading Light in the St Leger at Doncaster yesterday.
