Leopardstown Wed, 9th Apr, 2025  Alakazi Alakazi has been going very well at home and his work companion ran very well yesterday: we probably have a couple of nice three-year-olds colts this year. I ran him last year just to get experience into him but was a bit disappointed leaving because I thought he was nice. Maybe it was a bit much for him first time out on heavy ground. It was interesting to see how he behaved today with the Student Day and the good buzz around the place, but he took it all really well. We’ll stick him up into a Stakes race the next time and see what he’s made of.

Navan Tue, 8th Apr, 2025  Dakota Blue He was rated 90 coming into a race like that. He had been going well and Ben was happy with his last piece of work. Had a bit of a blow, so hopefully he will improve from that. His form was pretty good, the maidens he ran in were good. The Curragh was a good one and even the last day when he was second in Dundalk, I thought he might win that race, but it looked like a smart horse won that day. A mile and a-quarter is good for him, he likes fast ground - something to look forward to. He might even get a mile and a-half. Today was a big day. We wanted to get the day out of the way and it is always nice to win their maiden. Nice pot.

Bellewstown Sat, 5th Apr, 2025  Emerald Harmony Ben says she’s quick. She learned as she went along last year, and I suppose for a three-year-old it is hard. We are hoping she can improve a little bit more this year as a four-year-old. Loved the ground and hit the road well, and she just found that little bit in the last bit. She is very game, and she is very honest.
