Cisco Disco (5/1) made it two wins in a week in the Return Of The Revival Festival Handicap in Listowel.
He was driven to the front racing into the final furlong and stuck to his task well to fend off a staying-on Tall Story (4/1f) by a length and a half. Black Cat Bobby was another length and three parts down in third at 13/2.
This gave jockey Oisin Orr a double on the card as he also piloted Young Angel to victory in the preceding race.
Trainer Jack Davison said: "He is a grand little horse and I ran him back quickly but he is in such good form at the minute I wasn't one bit reluctant to do so. Thankfully it worked out.
"It took him a while to get it together which is fine because now the penny is really starting to drop and in doing so has won a couple of races. We'll see what the handicapper does, hopefully he isn't too harsh on him and can win another one before the season is out.
"He is ground-versatile but wouldn't want extremes and he likes a turning track. He is a half-brother to the infamous (stablemate) Glow Worm (a 30-race maiden)!"
Cisco Disco also scored at Roscommon on Monday.
The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. H. Hynes, that G.M. Ryan, rider of Ones Are Wild (GB), had weighed in at 12.9lbs light. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who agreed with the facts presented by the Clerk of the Scales and added that he did not have a lead cloth in his equipment when returning to scales. Daragh Dwan, Authorised representative of Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, trainer of Ones Are Wild (GB), stated that he accepted full responsibility for this error as he had failed to include the lead cloth when saddling the colt and confirmed that the missing equipment had been left in the animals stable. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G.M. Ryan had weighed in at 12.9lbs light and disqualified Ones Are Wild (GB) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 231(i). The amended result now to read; First - Cisco Disco, Second - Tall Story, Third - Black Cat Bobby (GB), Fourth - Windsor Pass Fifth - Wood Ranger
Furthermore the Stewards were satisfied that there was a breach of Rule 36(iii) and Rule 148(i)and fined Donnacha Aidan O'Brien €500 through his representative Daragh Dwan.
