After race at Cheltenham Wed, 11th Mar, 2026 (1st)  It took him 24 hours to recover when he came home. He was a bit shaken and then he had to get on the ferry and come home and that’s not how you’d like to do it, but it was a case of what we did and once he got home he settled into his routine and recovered quite quickly. We just had to get the spark back into him. We took the hood off and tweaked a few things at home and galloped him a bit differently, a bit like Lossiemouth (Tuesday’s Champion Hurdle winner), and it’s worked. I thought Paul was very brave on him today as obviously he couldn’t go the pace they were setting for the first mile, but I could see coming down the hill Paul was happy and he had his position coming to the final bend. I think the better ground maybe helped him. I was wondering whether he was a horse who didn’t like this place, but when went through his form at Cheltenham we found excuses for every day. We took the hood off him as we had to do something different. From when he was a young horse he was very keen and always wore the hood, but when he disappointed we said he had to change something. Paul was very good on him today. I had a bit of a heart attack at the last, but it looked he had plenty of horse underneath him. W P Mullins

After race at Punchestown Thu, 2nd May, 2024 (1st)  Fantastic performance. He is all heart. We missed the third last. Not the jump I wanted at that point. He came back on the bridle and I felt all the way down the straight that I just had Paul's measure. He has been so consistent all year. I think that was his best performance yet. He is there battling for you every time. W P Mullins

After race at Leopardstown Sat, 3rd Feb, 2024 (1st)  Danny is just on fire today,. This horse is improving, his jumping is improving and he’s settling as well. He didn’t have much respect for hurdles, but he has far more respect for fences and that’s bringing out improvement in him. It just shows you that chasers come in all shapes and sizes, he’s not the biggest horse in the world. He’s obviously very effective over this trip and we’ll look forward to the Arkle in Cheltenham. He showed plenty of resolution and Danny just timed his run well. Facile Vega will probably stay at that trip as well. I was very happy with him, even though he got beaten. I saw a lot in the race to say that he’s coming along and improving as well. W P Mullins

After race at Leopardstown Sun, 5th Feb, 2023 (1st)  He is a decent horse in a truly run affair., . We went a strong gallop and I couldn't go with them. I was always happy where I was throughout the race. He made lengths at every hurdle and if anything, I got there a bit too early. W P Mullins

After race at Thurles Thu, 24th Nov, 2022 (1st)  He was entitled to do that but I managed to get one beaten at 1/10 in one of these races before! . He was very relaxed out in front and wasn't really concentrating when he made the mistake at the first but we were racing down to the last and winged that one. He is much more mature and relaxed this year and I think he'll jump better when he is amongst horses. Last year he looked like a solid Grade 2 horse so I'd like to think he could turn into a Supreme or Ballymore Novices Hurdle horse - that's the dream anyway. Usually juveniles can step out in distance and once he settles, I think he can go out in trip. W P Mullins
