Top Of The Rock Narrowly on Top
Willie Mullins and Paul Townend were narrowly foiled in their bid for a double when Top Of The Rock and Mark Bolger short-headed their Jayo in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Beginners Chase.
Trainer of the winner, Jessica Harrington said afterwards: "He'll probably go to Limerick at Christmas for a two mile three furlong chase. He is not really quick enough for two miles. He copes very well with really soft ground and Mark was very strong on him there." (EM)
