O'Connor Takes Heavy Fall at Thurles
Bannow, Co. Wexford jockey, Matt O'Connor was brought to hospital in Clonmel after taking a heavy fall from Walkin Aisy in the Templemore Beginners Chase.
Riding this fellow for his boss, Colm Murphy, 'Strawberry,' as he is known to many, came to grief on the 12/1 chance at the fifth last.
O'Connor is reported to be stable but unconscious and scans will determine the extent of his injury.
