Murtagh picks up a suspension

Johnny Murtagh incurred a one day suspension for excessive use of the whip on board third-placed Aznavour in the mile and half a furlong handicap at Cork.

The John Oxx-trained gelding finished a short head and half a length behind Bold Thady Quill and Deire Na Sli

The suspension takes place on Tuesday 28th June when racing at Sligo takes place.
