Martin & Walsh on the mark again
Another Ambition showed his versatility in terms of ground with a two and a half length success in the Manlift Handicap Hurdle at Galway.
This fellow was previously a stylish winner on soft ground at Gowran and won a novice chase at Listowel on yielding to soft but he coped with the good to firm ground here admirably and accounted for Molinero by two and a half lengths.
Tony Martin was continuing his fruitful alliance with winning rider Ruby Walsh and he said: "It's been a great week. This fella has been a bit unlucky. It's taken a long time to get him back to that but it's nice to see him win."
Another Ambition is owned by the Two K's Syndicate which comprises of husband and wife Dermot and Peg Kilmurry from Mullingar. Of course the equine version of Kilmurry took the opening race on the programme.
