The David O'Brien trained Is Herself About gained a fortunate win in the Follow Us On Facebook Handicap Hurdle at Cork today, capitalising from the final flight all from leader Snapchat

Ridden by John Cullen, Is Herself About raced in a clear lead for most of the race but blundered badly at the second last, soon giving closing Snapchat every chance to take over. Snapchat had the measure of the eventual winner at the final flight but unfortunately crashed out and suffered fatal injuries.

Snapchat's rider Katie O'Farrell was ok following the heavy fall.

Following the win, O'Brien later stated “John (Cullen) thought he had the measure of him (Snapchat) until making the mistake at the second last but we were lucky to win.”

“She has a good pedigree and we'll look to gain some black-type soon either over hurdles or back over fences.”
