Hughes/Loughran back in the winner's enclosure
Dessie Hughes and Roger Loughran were enjoying a good afternoon when recording a double after Sarteano landed the Kells Beginners Chase for owners the More Busted Sofa’s Syndicate.
Winning trainer Hughes said afterwards: “He’s a nice horse, he’s always been a nice horse. He won his maiden up at Down Royal and then won a fairly competitive handicap at Fairyhouse in the Spring.”
“He’s a good ground horse and we’ll keep him on the go while the ground remains good.”
Hughes and Loughran's earlier winner came with Mr Duffy landing the Drogheda Handicap Hurdle.
