If ever a horse was ridden to the letter, he was! The mistake at the first didn't do any harm as if he winged it he might have been too free so it helped him get switched off. Donagh gave him a beautiful ride,. He has ability but wouldn't want to be in front for too long. The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the second last fence involving Eviscerating, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed third and The Church Gate, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, ran out, where it appeared The Church Gate ran short of room on the inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings

They were however, of the opinion that Rachael Blackmore was in breach of Rule 214, in that she had ridden improperly. Having taking her previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Rachael Blackmore for 3 racedays.
