The Stewards enquired into an incident after the last fence involving Overbury Prince, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed third, Song Of The Sky (GB), ridden by J.J. Slevin, placed second and Roney, ridden by B.J. Cooper, placed fourth, where it appeared that Roney ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.
