McDonogh where it appeared Samrogue had to take a check when going for a gap. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.Horgan felt he kept a straight line but when he heard a shout he made room. O. McSweeney stated that he had to take a slight check. D.P. McDonogh stated that while his mount was rolling around a bit he kept a reasonably straight line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Senado Square (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal appeared to have banged its jaw in the gates but to be otherwise post race normal.
