Curragh Sat, 28th Sep, 2024  Fregada We had her entered in the Moyglare but she got a little touch of sore shins six or seven weeks ago,. We couldn't run her and backed off her. Obviously when we entered her in the Moyglare we thought she was good. She's a nice filly, she was green today but she did it very well. She ran around a little bit when she hit the front but she was entitled to do that. She's never been away. It's great to have her for James and Charlotte (Musgrave), she was impressive. She's a very good filly. When she's working with anything we have she'd gallop all over them. She's still a baby but once she gets a bit of racing she'll be really good.

Dundalk Fri, 20th Sep, 2024  Anjah It's a long time coming, we've always been hitting the crossbar and it's good to get the monkey off our back.  . He runs well around here and we just haven't had the best luck, there was always one sitting in there to pip us on the line. He's been second and third. . We only have half a dozen horses. This is special because he's owned by my son Kyle and it's a real family operation. We train in Letterkenny. . We'll keep him going around here now and hopefully he might win again. We've a couple more for here as well. 

Galway Tue, 30th Jul, 2024  Reidh I had no runners in Goodwood today but felt nervous and my heart was thumping out of my chest. To have a winner here with the lads is great as I started off training for the late Tommy Staunton 28 years ago and he was a brother of (owner) John. John and Jimmy (Stauntons) are from Mayo so for them and me to have a winner here is fantastic and I've loved it. This means an awful lot and I think Tommy found the gap (in the race) and opened it up for us!. The handicapper put him up 10lb for winning a bad race so I thought that scuppered our chances but getting into (in-running) trouble might have won him the race as he got a chance to fill up and finish off. I'm flying back in the morning and it is actually easier to fly from Gatwick to Galway and come here, than it is to drive to Goodwood. We'll keep the horse here in Galway as he is in on Sunday, but I don't think he will get in.

Curragh Sun, 21st Jul, 2024  Babouche She's a filly we've always liked and has a temperament to die for,. She's become more switched off since she ran in Cork. It's okay winning in Cork like we did but we learned nothing because she did it all on her own, with the way the race was run. Coming here you're lobbing into a proper stakes race against the boys and you are wondering what did she learn. Since the run in Cork she's just been so switched off at home. Colin said that you can't get over her temperament. She got mashed out of the stalls there, then had to do it the hard way and then got to the front and parked and looked around. Maybe she'll improve and she needs to improve if we're going to keep going forward. We'll see how she comes out of it but at the minute we're going to take on the boys in the Phoenix Stakes. She doesn't show a whole pile at home since her run. Before her run we knew she was special but since then she shows you nothing. I've always said that we're winning our Listed, Group Threes and Twos but for the Group Ones you need the temperament. That can be the final thing that you're missing and she seems to have that. I've been blessed since Juddmonte came into the yard, we're always finding one. Last year was the ordinary year but even her sister (Zarinsk) pulled us out of the hole by winning a Group 2.

Leopardstown Thu, 18th Jul, 2024  And So To Bed We've liked her all along. Although she didn't run badly in both races at the Curragh we were hoping for slightly more both times. I'd say you'll find both of those maidens will work out to be particularly hot, especially the seven furlong race the last day. I wouldn't be surprised if the first and second turned out to be Group 1 performers. With us trying to go with them it maybe cost us third. I think the six-and-a-half suited her and I think she enjoyed going around the turn. We'll probably stick to turning with her and maybe going seven rather than back to six. She looks like a filly that will be heading for black-type races. She's a nice filly for the future.
