The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Realtin Fantasy, ridden by S.D
Bowen, unplaced, My Girl Sioux, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, placed fourth, and Silver Nemo, ridden by C.M Hogan, unplaced, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned
C.M.Hogan, stated that he recieved a bump from his left and became unbalanced. S.D Bowen stated that he recieved pressure from his left. Amy Jo Hayes stated that her mount darted to the right but felt she had corrected her mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Amy Jo Hayes was in breach of Rule 214(careless riding), and having considered her record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended her for 8 racedays
Amy Jo Hayes, rider of My Girl Sioux, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got no run in the straight.
