R.P. Whelan, rider of Doctor Grace, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tightened up for room at halfway. Subsequently the Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Salt Whistle Bay, trained by Charles Coakley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at aroud the furlong marker where Salt Whistle Bay, ridden by J.A
Heffernan, where it appeared he had to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
