Wexford Mon, 28th Oct, 2024 Ol Man Dingle It's nice to back up his last run. The ground was a bit of an unknown coming here today. I had his previous race and this one mapped out for a quite a while and I was hoping coming here that the ground would be a bit softer. He has been campaigned over further and I just thought two miles on a stiff track, on a bit softer ground, would suit him. The pace was a bit muddling and he seems versatile enough when it comes to trip. . We will see where we go from here. He has been on the go a while and I'll probably give him a small little break now. I could bring him back for a race at Leopardstown over Christmas, there is a novice handicap there that he could run in. We'll let him creep away and see where he brings us. . This is Brian's first horse with me, he is from Newtownhamilton and I'm delighted for him. He is a nice horse to look forward to. It's great for Ricky as well, he is having a great few days. |
