The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gerard O'Leary, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sea Eagle (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Gerard O'Leary reported that his charge was forced to race too wide and never got competitive from a wide draw the last day and that todays better draw may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Givemehoperosa, trained by Jack W
Davison, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing and distressed post race
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately 200 yards from the finish involving Red Heel, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, and Bella Colombia, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fourth, where it appeared contact was made between the two horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
