We were disappointed with her last winter and even though she won on soft ground at Listowel, she regressed after that and she is by King's Theatre and she seems to love that better ground. Hopefully there's be more chases to be won with her now and you'd love to get black-type but we're a long way from that on ratings. You never know though and if she could get her ground on the day she might get it somewhere. Schmidt (runner-up) ran well but jumped a bit novicey and he needed the run for experience. The Stewards interviewed A. McCurtin, rider of D'bru Na Boinne (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised the rider with regard to his future use of the whip.
