The Stewards enquired into two seperate incidents, the first approaching the second last hurdle involving Tulsa Jack, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, and Wee Tiger, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, and the second incident approaching the last hurdle involving Tulsa Jack, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, and Jefferson Davis, ridden by D. Meyler. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards that are EBF eligible (116 = 11st 10lb) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 11st 10lb Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 4lb extra for each hurdle race won.
