Navan Sat, 22nd Mar, 2025  Canal End I’m delighted, we haven’t had the best of seasons so it’s great for a horse like him to come out and do something in a nice race like that. It’s a great end to the season and I’m looking forward to getting him out again. The whole way through the race I was never really happy with him. It was only from the back of the last that he really found loads and stayed at it. We’ll try and find another chase for him between Fairyhouse and Punchestown. We mapped out today after his run in Naas the last day. The ground was very heavy there and Mark said he didn’t really travel in it, but he galloped the whole way to the line. We said we’d go for this race, with it being a novice handicap. Whether we keep him to novice handicaps, we’ll see. We’ll speak to Frank and JP and see what they want to do.

Thurles Sat, 15th Mar, 2025  A Law Of Her Own She was dropping back to a beginners' chase today and got a great ride from Sean. It was funny, there were a few lads on looking to ride her, so I texted Willie (Ward) and said take your pick. He must have had a few quid on Sean during Cheltenham!. She had been running in very good races and initially at the start of the season, we sat down with Willie (Ward) and Roddy (Winters, owners) and decided to aim for blacktype over fences. She did that on a few occasions and we aimed her at the good handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival, but she was unlucky as a horse jumped across her and knocked her out of the race completely. We'll go for a handicap chase at Punchestown now and it'll be great for the lads, who are local to there.
