The Stewards interviewed Miss C. Daffy, rider of Just A Normal Day, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) in that she had used her whip with excessive frequency and Regulation 10. 4 in that she had failed to give her mount sufficient time to respond. Having taken her previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Miss. C. Daffy for 2 racedays
The Stewards received a report from Mr.P.L. Malone, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that P.D. Kennedy, rider of Black Jewel, weighed in at 1.5 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that P.D. Kennedy was in breach of Rule 231 and having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays
The Stewards received a report from Mr. J. R. Banahan, I.H.R.B Starter, that C.A. Landers, rider of Queen Khaleesi (Ire), had failed to comply with his instructions which resulted in a false start. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that C.A. Landers was in breach of Rule 208 and having taken his previous record in this regard into account, they suspended him for 1 raceday
