See also » Cooper-doubles-up-on-Monotype It's tackier ground and slower ground than Punchestown. At Punchestown he just couldn't go the pace. He took off a bit then at the third last when he was sort of nowhere, and Bryan was hard on him then to finish ninth. We were a bit worried then because it was only ten days ago, but he was very gutsy there today. He was beaten nearly at the start, he couldn't go the pace and they went quick enough. He just out battled him (Great Khan) then to the line. If he hadn't of jumped the last he would have been beaten. Bryan was brilliant on him. He is a top class jockey, he is a multiple Grade 1 winning jockey, and we'll use him when we get him. He is definitely a winter ground horse and I don't want to be going around during the summer guessing about ground.
