The Stewards interviewed C. O'Keeffe, trainer, in relation to his failure to nominate an overnight rider. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that he had tried a number of riders but was unable to secure a booking. He also added he had being in contact with Horse Racing Ireland and the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board before the deadline closed to explain the situation. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation and took no further action. Mr. Rupert MacAuley did not attend this enquiry
Miss S. Ahern, rider of Praesagium Latina trained by J.P. O'Keeffe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a noise and pulled up thereafter
