The Raceday Stewards enquired into the failure of M.A. Enright, rider of Moondharrig, to make a post race report that his mount had started very slowly in accordance with the provisions of Rule 213. In his evidence, M.A
Enright stated that he should have made a post race report but he had received a knock to his shoulder when his mount got very upset in the starting stalls, reared up and was slowly away. He added that he sought medical attention when returning to the weigh room. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards considered that there were mitigating circumstances on this occasion and did not take any further action other than to remind him of his responsibilities to comply with Rule 213
