Heffernan stated that he felt he was clear of the riders on his inside. G.F. Carroll stated that his mount was running keen and he was trying to take back. S.M. Crosse stated that his mount received a slight bump from the right
Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the evidence and took no further action.
