Curragh Sun, 3rd Nov, 2024  Big Gossey That race is perfect for him as he gets in pretty well. Robert said he was getting a bit lonely in front and picked up again when the other horses were coming at him. He’s mad well and looks terrific. Gary (O’Brien), who led him up, does 90% of the work. He keeps him sweet and just rides him out a few days a week. Racing keeps him happy.

Cork Fri, 16th Aug, 2024  Hurricane Helen It was a competitive race and she had to wait to get out, but luckily did so in time. There is a long straight here so she had time to get into top gear. In fairness she hasn't run a bad race for us and I ran her over the wrong distance the last day but Gary couldn't pull her up. She has been a winner in waiting for her last couple of runs. She is in at Leopardstown on Thursday but it is a much higher bracket and we'll see how she comes out of this.

Killarney Mon, 15th Jul, 2024  Independent Expert I ran five horses in Gowran the last day she ran and they all ran worse than the other but the ground was terrible and sticky. She likes soft ground but couldn't go on it that day and now three of those horses have won since, so it was just one of those things. I gave her a break, she is fit and well now and tomorrow morning I'll enter her in a Galway festival handicap on the Tuesday. If she gets in, we'll take our chance and if you're not in, you can't win.
