Approximately ½ a furlong out POP FAVOURITE, placed third, hung left-handed causing Selfish Brian (IRE), placed fourth, to be eased when crowded for racing room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of POP FAVOURITE.
