Upon leaving the stalls, Perfect Rose (GB), placed second, jumped left-handed, bumping the winner, Kylla Looks (GB), who in turn bumped Trevie Fountain (GB), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Perfect Rose (GB).
Daniel Muscutt, the rider of the winner Kylla Looks (GB), was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from approaching 1¼ furlongs out.
Following the race, Paul Mulrennan reported that Maurice Dancer (GB), placed fifth, missed the break.
