Upon leaving the stalls, the winner, Princess Layan (IRE), jumped sharply left-handed, bumping both Senorita Eva Rose (IRE), unplaced, and Tregony (GB), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Princess Layan (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the first bend involving the winner, Princess Layan (IRE), ridden by Jack Garritty and Queen Of Thorns (GB), unplaced, ridden by Edward Greatrex.
Garritty was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his horse to edge left-handed when insufficiently clear of Queen Of Thorns (GB), causing Greatrex to take a slight check.
The Stewards then noted a short distance later that Queen Of Thorns (GB) slowed appreciably of her own accord whilst racing greenly, badly hampering Senorita Eva Rose (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Darragh Keenan, which in turn carried Runway Queen (GB), unplaced, ridden by Kieran Shoemark very wide on the track.
Following the race, Ben Curtis reported that Big Kitty (GB), placed fourth, ducked left-handed upon leaving the stalls before hanging left-handed throughout the race and Connor Murtagh reported that Out Of The East (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed in the straight.
