David Loughnane explained that the gelding had failed to cope with the step up in class to a more competitive race on this occasion, before adding that Richard R H B (IRE) may benefit from a step up in trip.
His explanation was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
