An enquiry was held to consider interference going into the first bend involving Gonzaga (GB), placed second, ridden by Laura Coughlan, the winner, Heptathlete (IRE), ridden by Benoit de la Sayette and Viola Park (GB), placed fourth, ridden by William Cox.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, de la Sayatte was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry, but declined.

Following the race, Elisha Whittington reported that Bold Decision (GB), placed fifth, was restless in the stalls, Laura Pearson reported that Daafy (USA), unplaced, was slowly away and hung left-handed in the straight; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities, Darragh Keenan reported that Raadea (GB), unplaced, hung badly right-handed throughout and Laura Coughlan reported that Gonzaga (GB), placed second, ran too freely in the early stages.
