The winner, Visibility (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Southwell on 9 November 2020 where the gelding finished ninth of nine runners, beaten by 28 lengths.
The representative of Scott Dixon could offer no explanation for Visibility (IRE)’s performance other than the gelding had not acted at Southwell on the fibresand on its last two runs.
Their explanation was noted and Visibility (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that First Response (GB), placed fourth, hung badly right-handed when rounding the final bend.
