Upon leaving the stalls, Perfect Refuge (GB), placed eighth, jumped left-handed carrying Street Poet (IRE), unplaced, onto the winner, Clem A (GB), which became unbalanced and tightened Metatrons Cube (IRE), unplaced, onto Deebee (GB), unplaced, which was hampered, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Perfect Refuge (GB).
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that Street Poet (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed.
