An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong out when the winner, Crimewave (IRE), ridden by Laura Pearson, interfered with Athmad (IRE), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris, who in turn interfered with MARION’S BOY (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Probert.
Pearson was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift left-handed under a right- handed drive without sufficient correction, causing Morris to be shifted off his intended line on to Probert resulting in Probert having to take a check.
