The Clerk of the Scales objected to Hawthorn Cottage (IRE), placed second, ridden by Lucy Barry on the grounds of the rider failing to weigh in.
Hawthorn Cottage (IRE) was disqualified and the placings revised as follows: Second Runasimi River (GB), Third Kestrel Valley (GB), Fourth Printing Dollars (IRE).
After being interviewed, the rider was suspended for 7 days and was not entitled to a riding fee.
Following the race, David Bass reported that Getaweapon (IRE), which was pulled up, stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Bryony Frost reported that Easter Gold (FR), which was pulled up, had a breathing problem.
