G.P. Brouder, rider of Little Stampy trained by D.Broad, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount plunged forward when the stalls opened and did a full 360 spin unseating him
S.P. Mooney, rider of Mystique Heights (GB) trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled
The Stewards interviewed D.Broad, trainer, under Rule 14, in relation to the behaviour of his charge, Little Stampy, at the starting stalls where she unseated her rider. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who stated that his charge got upset in the stalls before the start, that she has given similar problems in the past however he has worked on these issues at home. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards informed D. Broad that a repeat performance such as today could render his charge liable to a suspension in the future. Furthermore, in the light of tonight's performance he was advised to consider wether his charge would be a suitable mount for apprentice riders in the future
