Permission was given for Bronze River (GB) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute and for Mrs Meader (GB) to wear a red hood to the start and to be mounted in the chute.
Permission was further given for Simulation Theory (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start and Blue Artemis (GB) to wear a red hood in the parade ring only.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 3 ½ furlongs out involving Bronze River (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Ray Dawson and Photograph (IRE), unplaced ridden by Harrison Shaw.
The interference was found to be accidental as the free running Bronze River (GB) took hold and shifted right- handed, into a small gap towards Photograph, despite the riders bests efforts to prevent him doing so, causing both Bronze River (GB) and Photograph to make contact and become unbalanced for a number of strides.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Magical Mile, placed third, ridden by David Probert, Photograph (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Harrison Shaw and Bronze River (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Ray Dawson.
Probert was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left into a legitimate gap but by doing so, intimidating Photograph (IRE) which was moved slightly off its intended line, which in turn gave a small bump to Bronze River (GB).
Following the race, Ben Robinson reported that Enderman (GB), placed sixth, hung right-handed and Daniel Muscutt reported that Blue Artemis (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Blue Artemis (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
